VF SV6 PROHUB DYNO TUNING IN PENRITH
Oztrack provides custom Mainline ProHub dyno tuning for supported VF V6 Commodores.
Every VF V6 tune is developed and checked on our Mainline ProHub dyno. We do not offer road-only tuning for this service.
The ProHub gives us controlled testing, measured power and torque, and accurate engine data across the usable rpm range.
CONTROLLED DYNO TESTING
The ProHub connects directly to the vehicle hubs. This removes tyre slip and allows repeatable testing under controlled load.
The ProHub measures power and torque while we record engine and transmission data.
We adjust the calibration using data recorded from your vehicle. We do not simply load a generic tune file.
A CLEAR TUNING PROCESS
Each vehicle is checked, connected to the ProHub and tested before the final calibration is completed.
We confirm the engine, ECU, fuel, modifications and any existing warning lights or faults.
The original ECU calibration is read and reviewed before tuning changes begin.
The wheels are removed and the vehicle is connected directly to the Mainline ProHub.
We record the starting power, torque and engine data before making the main calibration changes.
We adjust the calibration, repeat the dyno tests and review how the engine responds.
We check throttle response, drivability and consistent engine operation before completion.
WATCH YOUR CAR BEING TUNED
Customers can watch the ProHub dyno session from our separate viewing area in the Oztrack foyer.

This lets you follow the tuning process while your VF SV6 is being tested on the Mainline ProHub.
INTAKE UPGRADE AVAILABLE
A VCM over-the-radiator intake can be supplied and installed with the ProHub dyno tune.
Intake changes can alter airflow measurement and engine response.
ProHub tuning allows us to test the result under load and adjust the ECU calibration for the fitted intake.
WHAT THE TUNE CAN IMPROVE
Results depend on the engine, fuel, vehicle condition and fitted modifications.
Pedal and throttle settings can be revised to give the vehicle a more direct and predictable response.
Fuel, spark, torque and airflow settings are checked using data recorded from your vehicle.
The ProHub provides measured power and torque results rather than relying only on how the vehicle feels.

Allow about two hours for a standard VF V6 ProHub dyno-tuning appointment.
Modified vehicles may require more time.
Arrive with the fuel grade you intend to keep using after the tune.

The engine, cooling system, transmission and fuel system must be in sound working condition before tuning.
Misfires, fuel-pressure faults, damaged sensors, intake leaks, transmission faults and cooling problems must be repaired before the tuning process can be completed.
