Every Dyno Tune Is Developed Around Your Vehicle
No two vehicles are identical. Oztrack develops each calibration around the engine, fuel, transmission, modifications and intended use rather than loading a generic tune.
Engine Calibration
Fuel delivery, ignition timing, airflow modelling, electronic throttle, idle control and torque management are adjusted across the required operating range.
Live Data Analysis
We monitor air-fuel ratio, knock activity, intake temperature, fuel trims, boost and other available engine data while developing the calibration.
Engine and Transmission Tuning
Where supported, automatic transmission shift timing, pressure and torque-management settings are developed alongside the engine tune.

Controlled Testing Without Tyre Slip
The Mainline ProHub connects directly to the vehicle hubs instead of running the tyres on rollers. This gives us a stable connection for controlled loading, data logging and repeatable comparison testing.
Power and torque are measured across the required rpm range while we check how the engine responds to each calibration change.

Enhanced Power Delivery Our dyno tuning services unlock hidden power in your engine, providing you with an exhilarating acceleration and speed. During almost every tune we are able to find improvement in Torque and Power across the full rpm range. Roller Dynos do not load the car the same each time at low rpm and Hub Dyno's are able to get around that problem. We can measure torque accurately below 2000rpm.- Optimised Performance Enjoy improved throttle response, smoother power delivery, and increased overall performance on the road. During Dyno Tuning we also do part throttle tuning, optimizing torque and AFRs at Highway Cruise speeds.

We input your cars diff ratio and gear ratio , combined with logging RPM directly from the engine we are able to ensure very accurate measurement of Torque. What Happens During a Mainline ProHub Dyno Tune?
The exact process depends on the vehicle, modifications, ECU and condition, but most tuning sessions follow these steps.
Book your session
Choose an available dyno tuning time online or contact Oztrack for a larger workshop job or unusual vehicle combination.
Vehicle assessment
We review the engine, transmission, fuel, modifications, warning lights and the result you want from the vehicle.
ProHub setup
The drive wheels are removed and the Mainline ProHub connects directly to the vehicle hubs for controlled testing.
Baseline testing
We check the existing calibration, power delivery, air-fuel ratio, boost, knock activity and other available data.
Custom calibration
Fuel, ignition, airflow, throttle, torque control and supported transmission settings are adjusted for the actual vehicle.
Final testing
The finished tune is checked across the required operating range and the final power and torque result is recorded.

ABOUT OZTRACK
Meet the Team Behind Oztrack
Since 2006, Oztrack has tuned more than 10,000 vehicles and developed hundreds of engine combinations. Our team brings ECU calibration, engine machining, engine assembly and Mainline ProHub dyno testing together in one Penrith workshop.
FOUNDER AND TUNER
Steve
Steve founded Oztrack and has specialised in ECU calibration and dyno tuning since 2006. He has tuned more than 10,000 vehicles, from standard road cars through to cammed, supercharged, turbocharged and competition combinations.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree and a Motor Mechanic's Trade Certificate. Steve won the NSW Super Street Drag Racing Championship in 2006 and develops most of Oztrack's custom ECU calibrations.
LEAD TECHNICIAN
Jono
Jono trained as a Motorsport Mechanic and later qualified as a General Automotive Mechanic. He has worked as part of V8 Supercar teams and brings broad motorsport and workshop experience to Oztrack.
He leads most engine machining, engine assembly, camshaft installation and mechanical development work. Jono also operates the Mainline ProHub dyno and has strong experience in 3D printing.
MECHANICAL ENGINEER AND TECHNICIAN
Dan
Dan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and is also a qualified General Automotive Mechanic. He won the Australian Championship in Pulsar Racing.
Dan operates the dyno and carries out engine machining, engine assembly, diagnostics and workshop development across a wide range of customer vehicles.
ADULT APPRENTICE
Brad
Brad holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wollongong and joined Oztrack as an Adult Apprentice.
He assists with servicing, engine preparation, assembly and workshop operations while building his practical mechanical experience alongside the team.
