AUSTRALIA-WIDE REMOTE VEHICLE TUNING

Remote Vehicle Tuning with EFILive and HP Tuners

Oztrack builds custom tune files, reviews data logs and assists customers tuning supported Holden, HSV, Ford, Mustang, GM and other vehicles without requiring the vehicle to attend our Penrith workshop.

We use both EFILive and HP Tuners. The most suitable platform depends on the vehicle, ECU, transmission controller, modifications and the tuning hardware already available to the customer.

CUSTOM CALIBRATION FROM A DISTANCE

What Is Oztrack Remote Tuning?

Remote tuning allows Oztrack to prepare or revise an engine and supported automatic-transmission calibration while the vehicle remains at the customer’s location.

The customer reads the original calibration, flashes Oztrack-supplied files and records requested data logs using compatible EFILive or HP Tuners hardware.

Oztrack analyses the files and logged operating data, then supplies revisions as required during the agreed tuning process.

This is not simply a generic file. The calibration is based on the vehicle, controller, modifications, fuel, transmission and usable information recorded from the car.

EFILive and HP Tuners are the tools—not the service itself

The service is Oztrack custom remote tuning. We select the most suitable supported platform and help the customer collect the information needed to build and refine the calibration.

VEHICLE-SPECIFIC REMOTE TUNING

Remote Tuning for Commodore, XR6 and Mustang

Different vehicles require different software, controller access, licensing and logging methods. Oztrack selects the appropriate supported workflow for the exact model rather than treating every car as the same.

VZ V6 Commodore Remote Tuning

Oztrack can assist with supported VZ Alloytec V6 Commodore applications. We first confirm the ECU, operating system, transmission and current calibration before recommending EFILive or HP Tuners hardware.

Remote assistance can include reviewing the original read, building the calibration, helping with logging and supplying revisions during the agreed process.

VE and VF V6 Commodore Remote Tuning

Supported VE and VF V6 models can include Alloytec, LLT and LFX combinations. Exact support varies between ECU and transmission-controller versions.

Oztrack can assist with naturally aspirated vehicles and selected modified combinations where the mechanical condition and available data are suitable.

BA, BF, FG and FG X XR6 Tuning

Many Ford XR6 and XR6 Turbo models can be supported using HP Tuners or another compatible platform. The exact year, ECU strategy, transmission and modifications need to be checked first.

Services may include engine calibration, supported automatic-transmission tuning, log review and tune-file revisions.

Ford Mustang Remote Tuning

Oztrack supports most compatible recent Mustang models, including naturally aspirated and supercharged combinations. Model-year and controller support determine the hardware and HP Tuners credit requirements.

We can assist with intake and exhaust upgrades, fuel-system changes, camshaft combinations and supported automatic transmissions.

VE and VF V8 Remote Tuning

Oztrack has extensive experience with LS-powered Holden and HSV vehicles including L76, L77, L98, LS3 and LSA combinations.

Remote tuning can suit standard vehicles, intake and exhaust packages, camshaft upgrades and selected supercharged combinations when the fuel system and data logging are appropriate.

LS Conversions and Other Vehicles

Supported LS engine conversions, American GM vehicles, Colorado, Jeep, Chrysler and Dodge applications can also be considered.

Send Oztrack the ECU type, operating system where known, transmission, wiring arrangement, modifications and tuning hardware before booking.

Confirm the exact controller before buying hardware

Model names alone do not guarantee support. Oztrack will check the ECU, transmission controller, software access and licensing requirements for your particular vehicle.

EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE FILE

Why Choose Oztrack for Remote Tuning?

A remote tune is only as good as the person building it.

At Oztrack, we do more than email tune files. We tune vehicles on our Mainline ProHub dyno, rebuild LS engines and machine engines in-house.

This workshop experience helps us build better calibrations and recognise when a problem is mechanical rather than tune-related.

10,000+ vehicles tuned across Oztrack’s history
Since 2006 specialising in LS tuning and performance
Since 2011 providing remote custom-tuning services
In-house Mainline ProHub dyno, engine building and machining

Real workshop experience

Oztrack tunes vehicles on a Mainline ProHub dyno and works directly with the engines, fuel systems, transmissions and modifications being calibrated.

Mechanical understanding

Because Oztrack also rebuilds and machines engines, we can recognise when logged behaviour is more likely to be mechanical than something that should be hidden in the tune.

Two major tuning platforms

Supporting EFILive and HP Tuners gives customers more options and allows Oztrack to select a workflow appropriate to a broader range of vehicles.

REAL WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE

Built on Mainline ProHub Dyno Experience

More than 840 vehicles tuned on our Mainline ProHub dyno as of August 2026.

Steve and Jono use Oztrack's Mainline ProHub dyno to develop and test calibrations for remote tuning customers across Australia.

Many remote-tuning combinations have already been tested in our Penrith workshop. This gives us real data when we review tune files and data logs.

Why our remote tunes are different

  • More than 840 vehicles tuned on our Mainline ProHub dyno
  • LS and Coyote engines rebuilt and machined in-house
  • Camshaft, supercharger and fuel-system combinations already tested
  • Data logs reviewed by experienced tuners
  • Mechanical, electrical and drivability faults checked before calibration changes
  • The same workshop experience applied to every remote tune

Our workshop experience helps us decide whether a problem is caused by the calibration or by a mechanical, electrical, fuel-system or transmission fault.
