LS1 383 Stroker Engine Build

Our LS Stroker Kit builds are based on a rebuild of your 5.7L Block (stroked to 383ci)

From early 2023: With our newly established in-house engine machining facility, we now offer rapid engine builds.We aim to achieve maximum power within your budget. Our engine is optimized for 98 octane with a high compression ratio NA Naturally-Aspirated build. A top-level performance exhaust and OTR are required to achieve approximately 480kw engine power.This LS Stroker Kit package is designed for high performance on a smart budget. If its a bit too much to spend check our cam upgrade engine reconditioning packages.

  • CNC machining is done to prepare for the sleeves, and the sleeves are installed.
  • CNC boring follows to create precise cylinder dimensions.
  • Sunnen Torque Plate honing is performed, which includes a profilometer assessment for accuracy.
  • The Rings are gapped
  • Cam bearings are installed.
  • Stroker crank clearancing is completed
  • Finally, the engine is assembled and is ready to be reinstalled

    • Manta Pro performance exhaust system to get the most out of these upgrades. We recommend 1″7/8″ Headers, Twin 3″ catback and high-flow cats in all stainless steel.
    • Over The Radiator (OTR) intake.
    • 400LPH Fuel Pump (required for above 350 rwkw)
    • 402, 415 or 427 Stroker upgrade inc. CNC Ported Heads LS3 (exchange), new LS3 rockers inc. CHE rocker bush kit, used LS3 manifold, 92mm cable throttle body. Sleeved with Ductile Iron LA Sleeves.
    • We can also convert a 6L or 6.2L block we supply to be a 427 and build up an engine from that as above. We have seen the 427ci engine reach 450 rwkw in street form without a turbo. It can even reach up to 500 rwkw.

Optional Extras are available for Higher Performance

When thinking about performance upgrades, you might want to consider the optional extras such as

• 235cc CNC Ported cylinder heads. These can further help improve engine power. They come with new valves and guides.
• A Fast Manifold paired with a larger throttle body can also make a big difference in performance. These components work together to improve airflow, which is crucial for increasing horsepower. When matched with a different manifold, a larger throttle body lets more air enter the engine. Together, these upgrades can elevate the engine’s power to around 500 kilowatts (700 horsepower).
• Larger Capacity Strokers using LA Sleeves, which are Ductile Iron. We can make the LS1 block into 402, 415 and 427ci. We can then even use rectangular port heads ie LS3, change to LS3 style manifold and LS3 rockers.
• We can further upgrade the 402/415/427 package by using AFR260 or TFS255 cylinder heads in combination with semi-shaft rockers. Performance Design Carbon XS Manifold and 103mm Throttle body.
