Oztrack can custom tune supported performance vehicles remotely using EFILive or HP Tuners. You don’t need to know which system your vehicle needs — tell us what you have and we’ll work that out.
Oztrack has tuned more than 10,000 vehicles since 2005 from our Penrith workshop and has provided remote tuning services since 2008.
Whether you already own tuning hardware or need us to supply the complete setup, Oztrack can help with the calibration, logging, tune revisions and technical support.
You Don’t Need to Choose EFILive or HP Tuners
Most customers don’t need to know whether their vehicle should use an EFILive AutoCal V3 or HP Tuners MPVI4 before contacting us.
Start by telling us what vehicle you have. Send the make, model, year, engine, transmission and modifications. If you already own tuning hardware, tell us that too.
Oztrack can then check the application and recommend the most suitable way to remotely tune the vehicle.

There is more than one way to remote tune a vehicle. Start with whichever situation sounds most like yours.
I Don’t Own Tuning Hardware
No problem. Tell Oztrack about the vehicle and we can recommend the appropriate system. Where suitable, we can supply the tuning hardware together with the setup and custom tuning service.
I Already Have EFILive
If you already own compatible EFILive hardware, Oztrack can provide tuning support for suitable Holden, HSV and GM applications without necessarily supplying another device.
I Already Have HP Tuners
If you already own compatible HP Tuners hardware, we can potentially supply the calibration, review vehicle logs and revise the tune for supported applications.
I’m a Workshop
Workshops can perform the mechanical work and vehicle testing locally while Oztrack provides remote calibration support using compatible EFILive or HP Tuners hardware.
What Vehicles Can Oztrack Remote Tune?
Using more than one tuning platform gives us options across a wider range of performance vehicles. Support still depends on the individual year, vehicle and controller.
Holden & HSV LS V8
Supported LS-powered Holden and HSV applications including many VT, VX, VY, VZ, VE and VF combinations.
Holden Commodore V6
Selected VZ, VE and other supported Holden V6 applications can also be candidates for remote custom tuning.
Ford & Mustang
Selected Ford and Mustang performance applications can be supported using compatible HP Tuners hardware.
Camaro, Corvette & GM
Supported Chevrolet, Corvette, Camaro, Cadillac and other compatible GM performance applications.
Modified & Forced Induction
Many cammed, supercharged, turbocharged and otherwise modified combinations can be custom tuned remotely where the setup is suitable.

EFILive AutoCal V3
An excellent remote tuning solution for many Holden, HSV and GM applications. Oztrack can supply the AutoCal with the tuning package when required.
HP Tuners MPVI4
Gives us another remote tuning option across a wider range of supported vehicles, including selected Ford, Mustang, Holden, GM and other applications.

How Oztrack Remote Tuning Works
The exact software can vary, but the basic remote tuning process is straightforward.
Send the make, model, year, engine, transmission, fuel and modification details.
Oztrack checks the application and determines whether EFILive, HP Tuners or another available service is the appropriate option.
Using the compatible tuning hardware, the required vehicle calibration information is read or obtained for us to work with.
We develop the calibration around the actual vehicle, engine, transmission, fuel and modifications.
The Oztrack calibration is transferred to the tuning device and flashed into the supported vehicle controller.
The vehicle is tested and relevant data is logged on the road, dyno or other suitable controlled environment.
Send us the data. We review how the vehicle is operating and make further calibration revisions where required.

So Which Remote Tuning Setup Do You Actually Need?
The AutoCal V3 video above shows one way Oztrack can remotely tune a vehicle, but it is not the only option.Depending on the vehicle, we may use EFILive AutoCal V3, work with compatible HP Tuners hardware such as MPVI4, or use hardware you already own.You do not need to make that decision yourself. Both systems can give Oztrack a way to work with your calibration remotely. Which one we recommend depends on your vehicle, controller and whether you already own compatible hardware.

Engine and Automatic Transmission Tuning
Where the vehicle and transmission controller are supported, remote tuning can also include automatic transmission calibration.This allows engine and transmission behaviour to be developed together around the actual vehicle combination rather than treating the gearbox as an afterthought.

Hugh – WM Grange
Hugh’s WM Grange runs an Oztrack camshaft and is remotely tuned by Oztrack from Australia.
Hugh uses an EFILive AutoCal to flash our calibrations and record data logs, allowing us to review the vehicle’s operation and make calibration revisions remotely.
Brett – VE Sports Sedan
Brett has been an Oztrack remote tuning customer since 2008. His latest vehicle is a VE Sports Sedan competing in motorsport in Tasmania.
We remotely calibrate the race car using EFILive FlashScan, with logged vehicle data used to assess and refine the calibration.
Connor – VE Commodore
Connor’s VE Commodore has a cam upgrade and was remotely tuned by Oztrack using HP Tuners.
Data logging allows us to review the modified engine’s operation and make calibration changes without the vehicle needing to come to our Penrith workshop.
Adam – Jeep SRT
Adam’s Jeep SRT has a camshaft upgrade with MDS removed. Oztrack remotely tuned the modified combination using HP Tuners.
The calibration and data logging process is carried out using the latest HP Tuners MPVI4 interface.
