What’s Included in Our Engine Rebuild Package

To ensure your engine rebuild is as thorough and effective as possible, we offer a comprehensive package that includes:

• LS3 or L98 camshaft or similar. LS1 Engines receive the Oztrack FE Camshaft.
• New performance single valve spring kit (unless optioning a cam upgrade)
• Chromoly pushrods
• A complete gasket kit

• GM head bolts and balancer bolts
• GM rear main plate and seal
• Superior GM oil pump
• Rollmaster IWIS Pro timing chain and chain dampener.
• Engine hotwash cleaning

• Precision in-house machining (CNC boring, CNC surfacing, and Sunnen Torque Plate honing)
• New rod, cam, and main bearings
• Your heads are cleaned in a hotwash, they are not serviced. You need to choose the CNC Heads option for that.
• Fresh oil and filters

• Run-in Tune Flashed to your supplied ECM

Optional Comprehensive Camshaft Upgrade Package

• Oztrack LS camshaft chosen for optimal suitability and performance.
• High-performance dual-valve springs  -ask about the spring upgrade with Titanium Retainers (an extra $100) and whether you need them.
• LS7 cam sprocket

Also available are other Cylinder Heads and an intake manifold upgrade.

• Performance Design Carbon XS Manifold and Granatelli 103mm Throttle body. Gains of approx 15rwkw and 25 Nm are possible. $3400

• GT is a LS1-LS2 Cathedral Port specific cam. OK with stock pistons as long as heads are not shaved.
• GTX-R (LS1-LS2) requires aftermarket pistons with valve reliefs or flycuts made into the factory pistons. This is an extra $500 inc. uprated valve springs
• HPX-R (Rectangular Port) L98 L77 L76 LS3 need special pistons. These pistons must be forged with valve reliefs or have flycuts. We can supply good pistons pistons with flycuts. This is an extra $500 inc. uprated valve springs

• CNC Boring: The cylinders are precision-bored to size for consistent clearances on our COMEC CNC machine.
• Torque Plate Honing: Our Sunnen honing machine ensures the cylinders are honed perfectly. This process, verified with a profilometer, guarantees precision for your engine’s application.

We also install brand-new pistons, rings, and bearings (for rods, cam and mains).

Optional Dyno Run-In and Dyno Tuning for Peak Performance

Once you have installed the engine into the car. You can bring it back to us for the final tune

During this procedure:

• The engine is then run on the dyno to optimize performance across the entire RPM range.
• After the run-in, we replace the oil with premium synthetic oil.
• A custom dyno tune maximizes power and torque across the RPM range, tailored to your specific engine setup.

Avoid Catastrophic Valve Seat Drops

For 6L and 6.2L LS engines, there is a significant risk of valve seat drops after the engine has surpassed 150,000 km. This issue, often caused by overheating, can result in catastrophic block damage. Unfortunately, predicting when or if this will occur is impossible.

We recommend replacing your old heads  CNC Ported exchange heads with new intake valve seats to mitigate this risk. These high-quality components are reasonably priced and provide a reliable solution to this common problem.
